PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative ring for an automobile meter having double decorative effects for showing an effect of a decorative existence as a reflection ring during nonexistence of illumination, and for showing presentation of "light" by emission from the ring itself during existence of illumination. SOLUTION: This decorative ring 10 for a meter disposed around the automobile meter has the double decorative effects by being constituted of a translucent ring 11 formed in a shape with a stereoscopic structure having a reversely U-shaped cross section or the like made of a translucent material, and of a half mirror 12 formed by applying plating onto the surface of the translucent ring 11. Further, an irregular pattern viewable over the half mirror is applied onto the inner wall surface on the back side of the translucent ring formed in the shape with the stereoscopic structure having a reversed U-shape or the like, to thereby acquire a strong/weak effect of illumination.
