A terminal contact section (11) making contact with a mating terminal is provided with a gold plating layer formed on base metal (20) with a nickel plating layer (21) provided therebetween. An electric wire crimping section (12) to which a core wire (15) of an insulated electric wire (14) is crimped is provided with a tin plating layer (23) formed on the base metal (20) without the nickel plating layer (21) provided therebetween.</p>
