Disclosed is a receiving device equipped with a selection unit for selecting using a switching circuit the broadcast wave received by one of either a first receiving unit which receives broadcast waves through a fixed receiving antenna or a second receiving unit which receives broadcast waves through a mobile receiving antenna, a demodulation unit which demodulates the broadcast wave selected through the selection unit and which outputs a digital signal, a scheduling unit which reserves the viewing or recording of the digital signal output by the demodulation unit in a specified time period, a detection unit which detects that the receiving unit has been switched, and an output unit which outputs a warning signal when the scheduling unit is reserving and the detection unit detects that the receiving unit has been switched.
