Provided is a recording medium capable of seamless connection with stream data arranged before a long jump originating point such as a layer boundary as a forward playitem, and with stream data arranged after the long jump originating point as a backward playitem. A 2D reproduction dedicated block (Ln2D) is arranged following a 3D extent block in which a depth map data block, a right view data block, and a left view data block are interleaved, and the 3D extent block including a 3D reproduction dedicated block (L3SS) is arranged between the 2D reproduction dedicated block (Ln2D) and a long jump point (LB). The 2D reproduction dedicated block (Ln2D) and the 3D reproduction dedicated block (L3SS) have the same content.
