FAST FOURIER TRANSFORM APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DRM SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A fast Fourier transform(FFT) apparatus and an FFT method for digital radio mondiale(DRM) system are provided to implement FFT without garbage data by realizing real prime factor FFT as a hardware using a pipe-line. CONSTITUTION: An input register(110) stores an input signal. An input shuffling module(120) outputs a signal outputted from the input register based on a pre-set regulation. An FFT module(130) implements an FFT calculation with respect to the outputted signal of the input shuffling module. A medium register(140) stores a signal outputted from the FFT module. A medium shuffling module(150) outputs the output signal of a medium transistor based on the pre-set regulation. A discrete Fourier transform(DFT) module(160) implements a DFT calculation with respect to the outputted signal of the medium shuffling module. An output register(170) stores the outputted signal of the DFT module. An output shuffling module(180) outputs the outputted signal of the output register based on the pre-set regulation.
