ORGANOAMINE STABILIZED SILVER NANOPARTICLE AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive method for preparing liquid processable, stable silver-containing nanoparticle compositions that are suitable for fabricating the electrically conductive elements of electronic devices.

SOLUTION: Processes for producing organoamine-stabilized silver nanoparticles are disclosed. The processes comprise: forming a heated solution comprising an organic solvent and a first amount of organoamines; adding silver salt particles to the solution; adding a second amount of organoamine to the solution; adding an organohydrazine to the solution; and reacting the solution to form organoamine-stabilized silver nanoparticles.
