PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of inserting a core in the center of a hollow block with a simple form, and considerably eliminating the deflection of a core rod. SOLUTION: In order to correctly introduce a core to the center of a hollow block, a core rod 4 has at least one aligning member 8, the outside diameter D<SB>Z</SB>of the aligning member 8 is slightly smaller or equal to the inside diameter D<SB>I</SB>of a center hole 6 of a block manipulator 2, and the outside diameter D<SB>A</SB>of the core rod 4 is smaller than the outside diameter D<SB>Z</SB>of the aligning member 8. The core rod 4 is designed to be guided through the center hole 6 of the block manipulator 2 so that a contact is present between the outer circumference of the aligning member 8 and the center hole 6 of the block manipulator 2, and no contact is present between the core rod 4 and the center hole 6 of the block manipulator 2.
