<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic light-emitting device with large light-extraction effect, high efficiency and long life, at low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the organic light-emitting device, a first electrode, a light-emitting layer, and a second electrode are laminated from a substrate side on the substrate, the second electrode is a transparent electrode, and light is extracted from the transparent electrode. The organic light-emitting device includes a high-refractive index concavo-convex layer structured of a transparent layer made from the same material with the transparent electrode and a plurality of particles with the same or higher refractive index than that of the transparent electrode on a side for extracting light of the transparent electrode, with a surface on the opposite side from the transparent electrode formed irregularly.
