<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection sensor and a position detection device capable of reducing the size and the weight, and simply detecting the accurate moving position of a detection object, without requiring a complicated work for accurately detecting the moving position of the detection object. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This position detection sensor 1 includes; a movable magnet 72 provided on the detection object 4, and moving following movement of the detection object 4; a magnetic body 74, including a first facing part 74a having a facing surface facing to a first polarity side of the movable magnet 72; a second facing part 74b having a facing surface facing to a second polarity side of the movable magnet separately at a prescribed distance, and a connection part 74c for connecting the first facing part 74a to the second facing part 74b; and a sensor part 76 provided between the second facing part 74b of the magnetic body 74 and the movable magnet 72, for detecting the position of the movable magnet 72, based on a change of a magnetic field angle direction.
