The method involves storing or hanging drying goods (9) by a receiver, and producing a dry air flow by a blower (8). The dry air flow is guided in a closed circuit by a heater (5) and an adsorption apparatus. The dry air flow guided in the closed circuit is alternatively guided in opposite direction, and a direction of the dry air flow is reversed after fixed predetermined time intervals. The direction reversal is controlled depending on progress of the drying process. An independent claim is also included for an adsorption drier with a receiver for drying goods.
