Provided is a long-life organic electroluminescent element which can be produced in an enhanced yield owing to suppressed crystallization of molecules. Also provided is an aromatic amine derivative, by which it is possible to produce the long-life organic electroluminescent element, namely, a novel aromatic amine derivative having a specific structure. Specifically provided is an organic electroluminescent element including a cathode, an anode, and a single- or multi-layer organic thin film which is disposed therebetween and contains at least a light-emitting layer, wherein at least one layer constituting the organic thin film, particularly, the hole-transporting layer contains an aromatic amine derivative having at least one structure where a substituent is bonded to amine with an aryl group therebetween, said substituent being a group derived by connecting multiple specific hetero-rings to each other, particularly, a group derived by connecting multiple specific hetero-rings with an aryl group therebetween.
|
