<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure printing quality by suppressing a printing media to which foreign materials stick from being conveyed to a printing head. <P>SOLUTION: The printing media is sent out from a medium container 122 through a sending out section 123c. Through areas are formed in the side faces of an inner side container 122. Brushes 132 to 135 are arranged along the side faces of the inner side container 122. The brushes 132 to 135 cleans the side faces of the printing media overlapped through the through area. The inner side container 122 is housed in an outer side container 121. Through holes 164, 167 or others are formed in the outer side container 121, air flows into the through hole 164 due to the air flow generated by an intake fan unit 161 or others, and the air flows out to the outside through the through hole 167 or others.
