<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution device and a distribution control method for increasing processing efficiency in input and output equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The distribution device 20 defines the output equipment 30, which is an output destination in the time zone, and is provided with a distribution rule for prescribing the issue conditions of a job to the output equipment 30, and the repetition conditions of job retransmission processing, monitor conditions, or the like after the job is issued. When a data processing request is received from the input equipment 10, an output destination is selected based on the distribution rule, and the job is issued (generated and transmitted) to the output equipment 30 based on the data processing request received from the input equipment 10.
