A device for splitting wood contains a frame, a carrying element with a splitter and a drive for its lifting, retention and free fall under its own weight. The device is equipped with a mechanism of additional loading a bearing element with a splitter, which includes a spring. The upper lid is fastened to a bar, and through the lower lid a compressive force is applied to the spring during lifting the bearing element with the splitter. Rigid fixing the device frame is made by means of stops. |
