PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the velocity and direction of wind using ultrasonic is provided to measure the velocity and direction of wind by using the directivity of an ultrasonic sensor. CONSTITUTION: An ultrasonic sensor module(10) comprises one transmission sensor and a plurality of receiving sensors receiving ultrasonic wave from the transmission sensor. A transmission circuit(20) amplifies the certain period and size of a square wave to transmit the amplified data to the transmission sensor. A receiving circuit(30) receives a signal from the receiving sensor. The receiving circuit produces the velocity and direction of the wind based on the phase difference between received signals. |
