Method and measuring device for optical recording and evaluation of sheet containing fibres

The method involves generating image signals using an image camera with a photo-sensitive sensor device (12) to determine disturbances in an appearance of a moved paper web (4) containing cellulose fibers, by an evaluation system. A light source (16) and the sensor device are utilized to form a measuring system (2), where lights (48, 52) from the light source are detected by the camera and led to different sensors (21, 22) of the device within a camera housing (5). One of the lights is formed as an incident light partially reflected by the web. The other light is formed as a transmitted light. The sensors are designed as red, green blue detector or an infrared detector. An independent claim is also included for a measuring device for optical detection and evaluation of characteristic features of moved paper web.
