PURPOSE: A steamer basket for kitchen is provided to easily take the basket out of a steamer while the basket is hot by inserting a tool like chopsticks in grip holes punched in extension parts. CONSTITUTION: A steamer basket for kitchen comprises perforated expansion plates(2), extension parts(3,3'), and a bottom plate(6). The expansion plates are radially connected to the circumference of a steamer. The extension parts are formed in the opposite expansion plates and bent inward. Grip holes(4') are punched in the extension parts. One of the expansion plates has a hole(5) for hanging the basket on a wall. The bottom plate is bent in two folds to reinforce the supporting force.
