<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cancel collated printing in a printing system in which, in collated printing, a printing control apparatus sends similar print data repeatedly to a printing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Not in collated printing (A), a print job with a job number and a PC address attached as a header to print data is sent from a personal computer to a printer, and in collated printing (B), a print job with a common job number, a serial number different by set and the PC address attached as a header is sent from the personal computer to the printer repeatedly for necessary sets. The printer assigns a common identification number to the common job number and notifies the personal computer accordingly, so that when the common identification number is designated, the data of each print job sent repeatedly in collated printing can be collectively deleted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
