摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacturing a color filter at a low cost with excellent characteristics for a traslucent liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive color composition satisfies 0.05&le;t2/t1&le;0.75, wherein t1 is the thickness of the coating film after a dry coating film of the photosensitive color composition is exposed to UV rays with 22 mW/cm<SP>2</SP>illuminance dgree for 13 seconds by using a ultra-high voltage mercury lamp through a photomask having a barrier portion and an aperture and then developed in an unexposed part, and t2 is the thickness of the coating film after a dry coating film of the composition is exposed to UV rays with 12 mW/cm<SP>2</SP>illuminance for 13 seconds by using a ultra-high voltage mercury lamp through the photomask and developed in an unexposed part. The method for manufacturing a color filter of a semitransmissive liquid crystal display includes steps of applying and drying the photosensitive color composition on a transparent substrate, irradiating the coating with UV rays through a photomask having a totally light shielding region, a semi-shielding region corresponding to the formation of a color layer in a reflective region, and a totally transmitting region corresponding to the formation of a color layer in a light transmitting region, and developing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
