<p>In order to prevent a user equipment, called UE hereinafter, from wasting unnecessary power, a method of reporting MBMS service information for the UE in a wireless communications system is provided. The method includes canceling reporting an MBMS message if there is no MBMS selected service in the UE upon entering a dedicated radio resource control state (302). Preferably, the MBMS message is an MBMS MODIFICATION REQUEST message.
