PURPOSE: A flexible packing paper for a high-opacity cigarette, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the opacity of the flexible packing paper without surface-processing the cigarette. CONSTITUTION: A flexible packing paper for a high-opacity cigarette includes an inorganic filler to improve the opacity. The inorganic filler contains one or two elements selected from the group consisting of heavy calcium carbonate, talcum, titanium dioxide, magnesium carbonate, barium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, zinc hydroxide, clay, plasticized kaolin, di-laminated kaolin, zinc oxide, silicon oxide, and amorphous silica. |
