The invention discloses a dual core processor and a method of error detection in the dual core processor. Configuration of the components of the dual core processor in the lock step mode is such that the error detection is performed. The method for error detection allows the dual core processor in the lock step mode to detect errors introduced due to electrical disturbances in addition to other errors that may affect the working of the dual core processors. |
