<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera whose imaging sensitivity can be controlled in a way of being adaptable to requirements of users for the imaging sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: When an exposure mode is set to any of a program mode, a shutter priority automatic mode, an aperture priority automatic mode, and a manual mode, a microcomputer 101 always invalidates (OFF) (A) a sensitivity automatic setting mode, and invalidates (OFF) (B) a sensitivity automatic control mode as a default setting. When the exposure mode is set to any of a person photographing mode, a scenery photographing mode, and a sports photographing mode, the microcomputer 101 validates (ON) (A) the sensitivity automatic setting mode as the default setting to inhibit it that both (A) the sensitivity automatic setting mode and (B) the sensitivity automatic control mode are validated (ON). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
