<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing with an antenna of good efficiency and a long communication distance which prevents the antenna from hindering the incorporation of the bearing into a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing 1 with an antenna comprises an inward member 2 and an outward member 3 which are allowed for relative rotation through a rolling element 4, and seals 5 and 6 for sealing the annular space between the inward member 2 and the outward member 3. An antenna 10 is embedded in the seal 6. The antenna 10 is a loop antenna formed in a spiral. The antenna 10 may be a patch antenna. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
