Compound material element for a hook-and-loop fastener, in particular for a nappy closure

The element has a textile functional layer (2) for engagement of Velcro(RTM: hook-and-loop fastener) hooks laminated on a textile carrier (1). The textile carrier and the functional layer are adhered with each other and form an air-permeable composite. An adhesive (3) e.g. polyurethane adhesive, is applied on the textile carrier in a pattern, which includes adhesive frames by holohedral adhesive application. The pattern includes an adhesive structure of adhesive surfaces and adhesive free regions (6) inside the frames. The frames form an edge of the element. The textile carrier is made of spunbonded fabric.
