<p>The stocking has a foot area and a leg area connected with the foot area. The foot area includes a sole area, where the stocking is continuously knitted from a ground thread (28) including mercerized cotton. The sole area is formed as a plush such that plush loops (38) are inward aligned and formed from the ground thread and the mercerized cotton. A plated area is formed from plated knitted fabrics. A plated thread (30) lies on an inner side of the ground thread and in the plated area and partially made of plastic i.e. polyester.</p> |
