Composition of decalcifier and rinse aid for devices and systems with metallic-, ceramic-, glass- or plastic-surfaces, comprises at least two fruit acids and a sequestering system that prevents the deposition of calcium on the device surface. An independent claim is included for producing the composition, comprising mixing all solid components of the composition, adding and equally distributing all liquid components of the composition, and optionally granulating or compacting the resulting mixture and preferably pressing the resulting mixture into a tab.
