A method for forming helical grooves on tubular blanks by hydrostatic pressure includes installation of the blank in a die, which has a groove, supply of working fluid under pressure inside the tubular blank. Forming helical grooves is carried out by external high-pressure liquid with simultaneous supply of liquid of lower pressure inside the tubular blank.
