The carrier (100) has a rectangular shaped flat frame (110) defining a rectangular shaped central hole (103) that defines a mounting plane of bases of a mechanism of an electric equipment (1). An unfoldable, extendable or flexible closing wall (130) is linked to an edge (102A) of the hole by a breakable hinge (133). The wall is extended in overhang from the edge in the plane for closing a part of the hole, and retractable under the plane. The frame has a flat core (111) made of a metallic material and coated with an insulating synthetic material coating such as insulating material skin.
