PURPOSE: A device is provided to uniformly maintain the tension of a line by automatically compensating the deflection of a line due to the weather or external factors. CONSTITUTION: A drive unit(110) comprises a body(111), a drive motor, a screw(114), two spreading bars(115), a moving body, a connecting member, and a connecting wire. The body is fixed to the arm of a pylon. The screw is driven with the drive motor. Two spreading bars are rotatably fixed to the body. The connecting member interlinks the moving body and the spreading bars. The connecting wire interlinks the bars and an insulator. A tension detection unit(130) measures the tension of a transmission line. A controller drives the driving unit according to the detecting information of the tension detection unit. |
