PURPOSE: A negative electrode, a lithium battery including thereof, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the discharge capacity of the lithium battery, the capacity retention rate, and the initial charging/discharging efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode comprises a conductive substrate, and plural 4B metal nanotubes separately arranged on the substrate. A manufacturing method of the negative electrode comprises the following steps; growing nanorods on the substrate; coating the nanorods with a 4B metal layer; and selectively removing the nanorods only, by heat-processing the nanorods.
