Smart card with pushbutton switch

The method involves exposing a conductor path arranged in an area on an upper side of a flexible printed circuit board, which is arranged inside a smart card (100). Personalizing data is loaded in the card from the upper side of the board. Another conductor path is arranged on a lower side of the board. The latter conductor path is exposed in the area of the board from the upper side of the board, where the lower side lies opposite to the upper side. A manually operable push button e.g. metallic snap disk, is contacted with the exposed latter conductor path on the lower side of the board. An independent claim is also included for a smart card comprising a manually operable push button.
