A rotor of Savonius type, with vertical axis of rotation and protective screen, in which:1) vertical surface of blade is formed by generatrix that is parallel to axis of rotor rotation and begins near axis of rotor rotation to which it can be tangent over its whole length, after that it is developed in such way that at projection to horizontal intersecting at right angle axis of rotor surface curvilinear surface an involute is formed, with evolute for it being circle;2) number of working blades on the rotor shaft is two and more;3) the rotor shaft is mechanically connected to the shaft of electric generator;Working zone of rotor is in protective screen that has cylindrical form, at that:a) axis of cylinder of protective screen coincides with axis of rotor and protective screen can rotate with respect to axis of rotor and be brought to working air flow (turn upwind);b) the device for orientation of protective screen is a vane;c) in protective screen on vertical cylindrical surface there is opening for entrance of working air flow with form and dimensions promoting flowing around by working air flow of concave surface of rotor blade in free direction with respect to rotation with simultaneous restriction (cutting) part of working air flow that effects on convex surface of rotor blade in counter direction with respect to rotation. |
