Pressure indicator for medical compresses

The device (1) has a sensor unit (2) and a reading out- and evaluation unit (5). The sensor unit and the reading out- and evaluation unit are brought in inductively operative connection with each other in a contactless manner. The sensor unit is formed by a coil (3), which is short-circuited by a mechanical pressure switch. The reading out- and evaluation unit comprises a resonant circuit with another coil (6). An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling the achievement of the correct contact pressure of medical pressure dressings and pressure bandages.
