THE UPPER DIRECTION STEAM CONDENSATE COLLECTION MANIFOLD

PURPOSE: An upward condensate collection manifold is provided to prevent condensed water from suddenly spouting by the inner pressure of a pipe. CONSTITUTION: An upward condensate collection manifold(10) comprises a head pipe(11), a boss(30) for a branch, a first switching valve(32), a second switching valve, a steam trap, and a drain(40). The head pipe is vertically connected to the condensed water collecting pipe. The boss for a branch is installed upwardly on both sides of the outer surface of the head pipe. The boss for the branch is multileveled at fixed intervals in the vertical direction of the head pipe. The first switching valve is installed at one end of a short tube(31a) of the boss for a branch. The steam trap is installed at one end of the short tube(31b) of the first switching valve.
