<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize division and reintegration of pages in applications in which documents can be edited in a page unit. <P>SOLUTION: Not divided page information 810 includes links to page ID and real data as page information. When this is divided, page information is duplicated so that it becomes page information that has a size corresponding to the number of pages that are divided, and division information that indicates relative positions before dividing is inserted into the page information. Real data is common in each division page information. As a result, page information after dividing, which has common page ID and real data, is generated into document information like page information 802 and 830.
