<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of expressing a strong highlighted effect produced on an object by the reflection of light with a less calculation load and an information storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming game system, a highlighted effect processing part 120 determines, based on the reflective point of light on the surface of the object, the arranged position of a highlighted effect object for forming the highlighted image produced on the object by the reflection of light, and performs a processing for arranging the highlighted effect object at a determined arranged position. The highlighted effect object is desirably disposed such that part of the highlighted effect image is extruded from an object image to generate an overlapped image.
