A method for wake-up detection in a receiver comprises the following steps: checking for activity on a channel according to a set of parameters (1); when activity is detected, correlating a received pattern with a stored pattern (2); when the received pattern does not correlate with the stored pattern, saving an event of unsuccessful pattern correlation to a memory (4); and evaluating the memory for events of unsuccessful pattern correlation and adjusting the set of parameters used in checking for activity on the channel (5). Further, a wake-up receiver is presented. |
