A releasable retaining assembly has retention lugs (80) and a transverse abutment surface (64) retaining the body in a storage position, where the assembly is released by a passage of the pushing member from the idle configuration to the moving configuration. An elastic resilient urging member (56) resiliently urges the pushing member towards the idle configuration. The pushing member has a cover made of aluminum or plastic for covering a pushed-button. An independent claim is also included for a method for utilizing a cosmetic article.
