PURPOSE: An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) terminal is provided to link an encoding key and a key index with a memory to stably record ID information in an RFID tag. CONSTITUTION: A storage medium(325) links a security key with a key index and stores the security key and the key index. A receiving unit(345) receives a random number from an RFID tag, an encoded random number and a key-index corresponding to the security key. An authenticator(360) extracts the security key matched with the key index from the storage medium and decodes the random number, compares the decoded random number with the received random number, and certifies the validity for the security key. When the validity is certified, a generating unit(370) generates ID information given to the RFID tag. |
