PURPOSE: An emergency escape device is provided to enable evacuees to escape rapidly using a descending device at a constant speed. CONSTITUTION: An emergency escape device includes: an evacuation main body(110) which is inserted into an evacuation hole of shelter space of a multistory building from the upper part to the lower part while covering the outer circumference of the evacuation hole; a guide member(120) which is vertically installed to the upper part and lower part of the evacuation main body; a descending member(130) which descends along the guide member to be placed at the lower part of the evacuation main body in the state that the descending member is suspended on the upper part of the guide member; an elevator member(140) which helps the descending member to descend along the guide member at a constant speed; a return member(150) which returns the descending member which is lowered along the guide member to the original position; and a locking member which helps the descending member to hold the position of guide member.
