IRIDIUM COMPLEX AND ORGANIC LIGHT-EMITTING DIODES

PURPOSE: An iridium complex is provided to improve quantum yield and to use for a light emitting layer of an organic light emitting device. CONSTITUTION: An iridium complex is denoted by chemical formula I. A ligand is a phenylpyridine derivative ligand which is substituted by one or more fluorine in a phenyl ring. In chemical formula I, R1 is N, R1 is CH, R3 is H, and n is 2. An organic light emitting device comprises a light emitting material having the iridium complex of chemical formula I in a light emitting layer. The organic light emitting device is applied to a display device.
