<p>PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor is provided to enhance the efficiency of a compressor by compressing a large amount of refrigerant in a compressing chamber by smoothly transferring the refrigerant to a cylinder bore. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor comprises a cylinder block(110), a front housing(120), a rear housing(130), a rotary shaft(140), a piston(115), and a suction encouraging unit. The cylinder block comprises a central bore(111) and a plurality of cylinder bores(113). The rotary shaft passes through the cylinder block, is installed on the front and rear housings to be able to rotate both ends, is rotated by the driving force transferred from the outside and transfers the refrigerant transferred to a suction chamber(133) to the inside of the cylinder bore. The piston receives the rotation of the rotary shaft through a swash plate(148) and compresses refrigerant in the cylinder bore. The suction encouraging unit is connected to the entrance of the flow path(141) of the rotary shaft to be rotated integrally with the rotary shaft and is located in the suction chamber to transfer the refrigerant from the suction chamber to the flow path of the rotary shaft.</p> |
