METAL HALIDE LAMP HAVING HIGH COLOR RENDERING PROPERTIES

PURPOSE: A metal halide lamp having high color rendering properties is provided to reduce a possibility of a bulb by mounting a shroud around a CDM lamp. CONSTITUTION: An outer bulb(10) is formed with a transparent quartz material. The outer bulb comprises a first and second tubes(11,12) which are extended to be opposite to each. The first tube is supported by both ends of a supporting frame(60). The support stand(50) is connected to the supporting frame in order to support an arc tube(20). A base(80) is installed in the second tube of the outer bulb. The base supports a lead line(30) supplying electric potential to an electrode of the arc tube.
