PURPOSE: An X-line opaque glass without barium is provided to secure the environment-friendly property of the glass by avoiding containing harmful components including the barium. CONSTITUTION: An X-line opaque glass contains 63~70wt% of SiO2, 12~16wt% of B2O3, 0~4wt% of Al2O3, 0~1wt% of Li2O, 0~3wt% of Na2O, 2~7wt% of K2O, 6~14wt% of Cs2O, 0~4wt% of ZrO2, and 2~7wt% of La2O3. The X-line opaque glass has the refractive index of 1.480~1.517, and the aluminum equivalent thickness more than 180%. |
