<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus, a system, and a method for sending a pilot beacon signal for handoff and a method thereof are provided to supply information of the PCCPCH(Primary Common Control Packet Channel), thereby increasing a success rate of handoff. CONSTITUTION: A signal generating unit(220) generates the first channel for transmission of information including data based on an RF signal transmitted from a base station, the second channel including synchronization information, and the third channel providing a phase reference. The signal generating unit generates a pilot beacon signal by combination of the generated channels. A transmitting unit(230) transmits the generated pilot beacon signal to a terminal.</p> |
