PURPOSE: A navigation device and a position determining method thereof are provided to determine the position of the navigation device even in a low visibility area. CONSTITUTION: A position determining method of a navigation device(100) is as follows. First information including an azimuth and an elevation angle of a signal applied to the antenna of a standard country(300) is received from the standard country. Second information including an azimuth and an elevation angle of a signal applied to the antenna of satellite navigation is detected from the satellite navigation and a distance between the satellite navigation and the antenna of the satellite navigation. The position of a user is calculated based on the first and second information.
