PURPOSE: An apparatus for sorting industrial waste and a method of the same are provided to be eco-friendly performed by preventing the generation of dust using a cyclone type dust eliminating unit. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for sorting industrial waste includes a supplying belt(1), a blower(11), a dust eliminating unit(9), a transferring path(12), a permanent magnet belt(2), an electric magnet belt, a first sorting container(4), a first discharging belt(41), a first transferring belt(42), a second sorting container(5), a second discharging belt(51), a second transferring belt(52), a third sorting container(6), a third discharging belt(61), a third transferring belt(62), an impact pulverizing unit(7), a hammer crasher, and a re-supplying belt(82). The re-supplying belt is formed on one lower end of a second supplying belt(71) and a third supplying belt(81) and is formed on the upper end of the permanent magnet belt.
