COUNTER CIRCUIT, DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME, AND COUNTING METHOD

PURPOSE: A counter circuit, a device including the same, and a method for counting are provided to increase operational speed by performing counting operation twice for each clock cycle. CONSTITUTION: A first counting unit(110) generates a first bit signal which performs a toggling operation in response with a first edge between the increasing edge and the decreasing edge of an input clock signal. A second counting unit(120) generates a second bit signal which performs the toggling operation in response with a second edge between the increasing edge and the decreasing edge of the input clock signal. A counter circuit counts the input clock signal twice per cycle.
