MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR FUNCTIONAL GLASS : ADD MONAZITE MINERAL TO GLASS

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a functional glass using a monazite mineral composition as a glass additive is provided to manufacture an antibacterial glass by inserting a mixing compound of a zinc oxide and borax. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a functional glass comprises the following: measuring 2,000g of monazite mineral powder; mixing 100g of monazite mineral powder with 1,000g of silica composition, and measuring 1,000g; melting the silica composition inside an electronic furnace in 1,150~1,400 deg C; cooling the silica composition; mixing ceramic powder to measure 1,000g of monazite ceramic powder; mixing 150g of monazite ceramic mineral composition to 1,000g of silica composition; melting the silica composition using the electronic furnace; and cooling the silica composition.
